Can I take more than a recommended dose of Loratadine (Claritin®)?
It is not advisable for you to take more than a recommended dose. Always follow label directions. See individual product pages for label directions. In the case of an overdose, seek medical attention, or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.
Can I take another dose if my allergy’s symptoms return?
No. You should always allow a single dose to run its course in full before you take another dose.
Will Loratadine (Claritin®) make me sleepy?
When taken as directed, all Loratadine (Claritin®) products provide Non-drowsy allergy relief.
What is the difference between each Loratadine (Claritin®) product ?
Loratadine (Claritin®) Tablets, Loratadine (Claritin® RediTabs®) and Children’s Loratadine (Claritin®) Syrup all contain the same active ingredient - loratadine (an antihistamine ). The only difference between each of these products is that they contain different inactive ingredients, as each of these products are produced according to the consumer age group and preference.
Can I chew a Loratadine (Claritin®) tablet?
It is advisable to swallow the tablet whole.
Can I swallow a Loratadine (Claritin® RediTabs®) tablet or let it dissolve?
Let the product dissolve in your mouth before swallowing.
What happens if a Loratadine (Claritin® RediTabs®) tablet melts in my mouth, but not on my tongue?
The product will still function the same.
What happens if I chew a Loratadine (Claritin® RediTabs®) tablet?
